Welcome to Taipics.com, a small archive of around 1000+ vintage Taiwan images. This collection was compiled by taipeimarc over the past 7-8 years and originally hosted at initechnology.com. It went offline in June 07 due to several reasons: lack of time, interest, domain name was expiring, etc. In early 2008 David Reid generously offered to host this collection on his server. We decided on using the domain name taipics.com as an easy to remember and more permanent link to this site.
There is still some work to be done here such as standardizing the file names, better organization, uploading many more photos (including a section on MAAG/US military in Taiwan) and inserting the size/seo tags. We will try to get around to that when we can. All photos are believed to be in the public domain. Contact us if there is anything that should be removed.
