921 - Quake of the Century

Taipei Times - Quake kills 5 as it rattles the nation

A large 6.8 earthqauke hit Taiwan on April 1, 2002 (not long after after 921).
Two large constuction cranes fell off the top of the Taipei 101 building crushing a taxi and a few people.
The building in the photo was about 6 blocks from my house.
